As an Infrastructure Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and enhance the systems that underpin our backend infrastructure. This role necessitates a solid understanding of various infrastructure technologies, including server hardware, operating systems, virtualization solutions, and cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical expertise for intricate project outcomes across a Microsoft, VMWare, Dell, Citrix, and NetApp environment.
- Focus on security by supporting vulnerability management and remediation efforts.
- Provide advanced support at a third level across the infrastructure.
- Offer third-level assistance for cloud technologies, including Azure and M365.
- Enhance and support Exchange Hybrid environments.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement within the infrastructure.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to manage incidents effectively outside standard business hours.
- Engage in patching and release responsibilities during weekends.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server platforms and VMWare virtualization technologies.
- Experience in supporting and configuring Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp environments.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory and DNS.
- Ability to contribute to third-level technical expertise across a Microsoft, Dell, Citrix, and NetApp infrastructure.
- Familiarity with security solutions for both cloud and endpoint environments.
- Experience with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including PAAS and IAAS.
- Knowledge of M365 configuration and support, including Exchange and MS Teams.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, including scripting knowledge.
- Understanding of ITIL processes, including change, incident, and problem management.
