Key Responsibilities

As a Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing essential documentation for crew members, including flight plans, weather updates, and passenger lists.
  • Managing aircraft weight and balance calculations as necessary.
  • Communicating vital fuel and load information between flight crews and load control teams.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure proper aircraft loading.
  • Prioritizing tasks to effectively manage aircraft turnaround from arrival to departure.
  • Operating air bridges and guiding systems for aircraft stands.

  • Utilizing various airline and Swissport computer systems and handheld devices, including FSC and SMT.

  • Complying with Swissport's standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Maximizing efficiency in the management of inbound and outbound flights.

  • Conducting daily and weekly assessments.
  • Leading daily shift briefings.
  • Maintaining assigned equipment, materials, and documentation.
  • Assisting with local emergency response plans.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
