About the Role

Are you a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) with a passion for supporting the education, social, emotional, and mental well-being needs of young people? Do you want to make a real difference in their lives?

We are seeking dedicated EMHPs to join our Mental Health Support Teams in Hull. These teams work directly within schools and colleges with children and young people aged 5 to 18.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people in educational settings experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges.
  • Assist children and young people within these settings who present with more severe problems to rapidly access specialized services.
  • Support and guide staff in educational settings to identify and manage issues related to mental health and well-being.
  • Collaborate with education environments to enhance access to specialist mental health services. Utilize acquired skills, knowledge, and abilities to deliver a service within educational settings that complements existing initiatives.
  • Mentor trainees and provide peer-to-peer support to other qualified EMHPs.
