Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful and well-established wholesale group as a Compliance Manager. The company owns its own UK and international factories and supplies major UK retailers and independents with quality globally sourced furniture and home products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the business meets all compliance obligations across all areas of its operation.
  • Oversee sustainable sourcing, transportation, chemical treatment, labour, and fire compliance.
  • Conduct regular ethical and technical audits of manufacturing facilities to ensure adherence to national and international standards.
  • Work closely with customers to ensure compliance with their audit criteria and record information on their bespoke systems.
  • Ensure product compliance, including performance testing, meets industry and retailer standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience with compliance on hard goods with a retailer or manufacturer.
  • Ability to cope with a diverse workload and work at pace.
  • Self-motivation, confidence, and good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to keep up to date with new legislation.
  • Previous exposure to sustainability management, factory auditing, and product testing.
  • Ability to assimilate data quickly and solid MS Excel skills.
