We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Collections and Exhibitions Coordinator at White Cube. The ideal candidate will have first-hand experience working on exhibitions and projects within a gallery or museum environment, and be able to juggle multiple tasks effectively, often working to tight time constraints.
Key ResponsibilitiesExhibition Coordination:
- Liaise with artists to ensure their expectations are met and requirements for installation are implemented in collaboration with the Artist Liaison.
- Create detailed computer renderings of galleries for internal and artist reference.
- Prepare models for artists to assist with placement of works.
- Draft installation schedules and coordinate with contractors and suppliers.
- Work with shippers, Registrars, and Warehouse to book transport and organize local shipments.
- Manage technicians during exhibition installation and artist time.
- Support Fabrication Coordinators on fabrication projects as needed.
- Oversee fabrication projects, ensuring artist expectations are met and requirements are fulfilled by fabricators and suppliers.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Liaise with Warehouse Manager, Registrars, and Artist Liaisons regarding storage, collection, and movement of artist works.
- Coordinate with external storage companies as necessary.
