Receptionist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton London Angel Kings Cross. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process guest arrivals and departures, handling check-in and check-out procedures, and ensuring accurate and efficient room assignments.
  • Manage front office operations, including handling guest requests, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of guest services.
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
