About the Role:

Cleansing Service Group (CSG) is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for delivering maintenance and repair services to our customers, diagnosing and problem-solving issues, and providing installation and refurbishment services for pump stations, treatment plants, and interceptors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver maintenance and repair services to CSG customers
  • Diagnose and problem-solve issues
  • Provide installation and refurbishment services for pump stations, treatment plants, and interceptors
  • Maintain and update maintenance reports
  • Comply with Group H&S policies and behaviours
  • Demonstrate CSG management performance behaviours

What We Offer:

As a Maintenance Technician at CSG, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through our Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship program. You will be enrolled onto a Level 3 Maintenance Operations Engineering Technician (Electrical bias) apprenticeship, which will provide you with a technical certificate over two academic years. After the initial training, you will work towards developing your skills, knowledge, and behaviours required for an end-point assessment.

Person Specification:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 4 GCSEs at grades A-C, grade 5 and above or the equivalent, including English Language, Maths, and a Science subject
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A methodical and hands-on approach to learning
  • Able to work alone and within a larger team
  • A full UK driving licence
