Position Overview

Insect Management Specialist

Eco-Friendly Insect Solutions Ltd is seeking a motivated and skilled Insect Management Specialist to become part of our dedicated team of Pest Management Experts and Biological Technicians to serve the Yorkshire region.

The selected individual will receive a competitive salary based on their expertise and experience.

Work Schedule:

  • Standard working hours are from 08:30 to 17:00 with a 45-minute lunch break; however, pest issues may arise outside of these hours, necessitating occasional additional hours.
  • We provide statutory holidays along with 20 days of annual leave, increasing to 25 days with extended service.

Candidate Qualifications

  • The preferred applicant will possess RSPH3 in Pest Management, or BPCA Certified Advanced Technician or a comparable qualification. A degree in Biological Sciences is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and colleagues at all levels, from support staff to executives, are essential.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
  • A valid UK driving license and residency in the Yorkshire area or willingness to relocate is necessary.
  • Your responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of industrial clients to ensure they maintain a pest-free environment while providing guidance on ecological enhancements. The diversity of pests and work settings ensures a dynamic work experience. This is primarily a field-based role, not laboratory-focused.
  • As client requirements evolve, our services must adapt accordingly. There will be opportunities for business development, for which performance-based incentives will be offered.
