Nurse Specialist Therapeutic Apheresis

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Outreach Nurse Specialist to join our Therapeutic Apheresis Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting lifesaving treatments for patients across the region.
Main Responsibilities:- Perform therapeutic apheresis and cell collection procedures in paediatrics and adults.
- Plan and deliver nursing care for patients/donors, providing advice and support as needed.
- Work within a total quality management system, maintaining nursing practice standards and ensuring best practice and clinical effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with stakeholders to support patient-centred care and quality and safety.
- Provide clinical support and supervision to less experienced staff and student nurses.
- Travel and spend time away from base, working irregular hours and overnight stays when required.
- Registered Nurse with current Nursing and Midwifery Council registration (RN1 or RNA).
- Post-registration experience and a degree in a clinical area.
- NMC professional registration (which must be maintained in the role).
- Awareness of current issues in nursing.
- Valid driving licence, allowing you to drive in the UK.
- Commitment to own continued professional development (CPD).
