About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Ward Manager in providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 12 up to 18 years with a primary diagnosis of eating disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise to the nursing team, ensuring that high standards of care are maintained and improved.
  • Support the Ward Manager in leading the nursing team, promoting good teamwork and collaboration.
  • Empower recovery and deliver supervision to staff across the ward, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Co-ordinate the on-call service and manage ward budgets, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Lead by example, acting as a role model to all members of the nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification and NMC registration.
  • Proven track record of leadership skills and experience in a similar environment.
  • A positive attitude and natural caring and compassionate approach.
  • Commitment to high-quality care and values-based practice.
