About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Activities Coordinator to join our team at Brookside Care Home. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and delivering a programme of activities and events that engage our residents, promote their independence, and meet their individual needs.

You will work closely with our residents, their families, and our care team to understand their interests and preferences, and develop a programme of activities that reflects their needs and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a programme of activities and events that engage residents and promote their independence
  • Work with residents, their families, and the care team to understand their interests and preferences
  • Plan and deliver activities that meet the needs and aspirations of residents
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to resident engagement
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the activities programme and make recommendations for improvement
