Job Title: Community Paediatrician and Lead for Looked After Children

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Paediatrician to lead our team in providing high-quality care to looked after children in the Redbridge area.

About the Role:

This is a substantive, full-time position based at The Grove, Grove Road, Chadwell Heath, RM6 4XH. As a Community Paediatrician, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care to babies, children, and young people across Redbridge. You will be responsible for providing senior medical support and guidance to the team, working directly with children and their families, and liaising with other external health providers and acute hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care to babies, children, and young people across Redbridge.
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
  • Work directly with children and their families, and liaise with other external health providers and acute hospitals.
  • Participate in the local Child Protection rota.
  • Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member.
Person Specification:
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
  • CCT or equivalent.
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
  • At least 2 years' experience in Community Child Health.
