About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Children's Community Nurse to join our team at the Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS. As a key member of our community nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and their families in the community setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to the community nursing team
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of children and their families
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Conduct assessments and provide education to patients and families on disease management and self-care
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care

Person Specification

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Children's Community Nurse who has:

  • A degree in nursing or a related field
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Experience working in a community nursing setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
