Job Summary

The Heidelberg Materials International Business Service Centre (BSC) is a key component of our global operations, providing administrative support functions and customer excellence to our business units. As an International P2P Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely processing of payments to suppliers, maintaining robust auditable working practices, and delivering maximum service accuracy to all countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing our First Line Support model where implemented.
  • Transaction Processing: Process all transactional activities through the relevant workflow tool, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with appropriate processes and controls, supporting the team to maintain up-to-date documentation and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Escalation and Issue Resolution: Effectively escalate non-standard requests or issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing disruption to business operations.
  • SLA Management: Accurately work within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) on a right-first-time basis, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Confidentiality and Integrity: Maintain high levels of integrity and confidentiality, handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records to enable correct reporting and analysis of business performance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve targets, embracing department and wider BSC initiatives, and contributing to a positive and supportive team culture.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in response to changing business needs, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.

Requirements

  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the drive and flexibility to support others in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Technical Skills: Have basic Microsoft Office (Excel) skills and excellent data entry skills.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Compliance: Comply with all aspects of the Heidelberg Materials Compliance Policy, ensuring that all business operations are performed in accordance with instructions and procedures.
  • Health and Safety: Comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and observe the requirements of the Company Safety Policy and other relevant legislation.
  • Education and Qualifications: Possess 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) C and above, and be fluent in French.
