We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Handler to join our team at Ardonagh Advisory. As a Claims Handler, you will play a critical role in providing an effective and efficient claims service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a designated caseload of claims from inception to resolution, ensuring that company policy, procedure, and regulatory requirements are adhered to at all times.
- Refer claims that fall outside of your authority levels to your line manager.
- Gather and process information to support the effective assessment of complex cases.
- Assist in the training of new or inexperienced staff in the use of company systems and processes.
- Maintain and develop personal knowledge and skills through continued professional development and ongoing desk training.
- Conduct the business of the company in a courteous and efficient manner, adhering to all procedures and policies related to conflicts of interest and customer treatment.
- Undertake any other tasks as may reasonably be required by the company.
Requirements
- Experience in dealing with a varied portfolio of motor, liability, and property-related claims.
- Excellent customer care experience.
- General Insurance principles and practice.
- A strong work ethic and time management skills to efficiently handle a large caseload.
- Class of risk, product, and market knowledge.
- General Insurance regulation and business ethics.
- IT proficiency.
- Numeracy and Literacy.
