Graduate Learning Support Assistant Role
Are you a recent graduate with a passion for supporting young people in their educational journey? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and organized individuals to fill numerous Learning Support Assistant (LSA) roles across Cardiff schools, commencing in September.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized academic support to assigned pupils, tailoring your approach to their specific needs and learning styles.
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist pupils with behavioral management strategies, promoting positive social interactions and emotional well-being.
- Contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and track pupil progress effectively.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Recent graduate with a strong academic background and a genuine desire to work with young people.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience for every pupil.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- A current Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service is essential.
- Annual registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is required.
