Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team as a Clinical Pharmacy Lead. This role will involve managing and coordinating the pharmacy team across all our Urgent Primary Care services, ensuring regulatory, contractual, and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the pharmacy team to ensure effective medicines management across Urgent Primary Care services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve medicines management, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Primary Care Networks, to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the pharmacy team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Urgent and Primary Care, including transforming the medicines management process.

Requirements:

  • Trained Pharmacist with relevant experience in medicines management and team leadership.
  • Experience working in or alongside Primary and Urgent Care Services.
  • Management qualification or relevant experience.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Good communication and IT skills.
  • CQC and regulatory knowledge.
  • Registered Manager or willingness to become one with training.
