Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and support to consultants, clinicians, and patients on the safe and effective use of medicines.
  • Develop and implement pharmacy services to meet the needs of patients and clinicians.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to pharmacy services.
  • Stay up-to-date with current legislation, professional standards, and best practices in pharmacy.

Requirements

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Master's degree in pharmacy or equivalent at the time of qualification.
  • Competence across a range of pharmaceutical subjects supported by professional and clinical knowledge.
  • Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to complex and varied patient requirements.
  • UK experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software packages.
