Strategic Account Director

Consilium Recruit is proud to partner with the National Composites Centre (NCC) to find a highly skilled Strategic Account Director to lead and grow their Digital and Professional Services portfolio.
The RoleWe are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong track record of driving business growth through strategic account management. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and implementing a customer-centric approach to accelerate and drive business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the digital and professional services landscape and be able to forge excellent relationships with senior leaders across the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic account management approach to drive business growth
- Build and maintain a network of senior leaders across the digital and professional services landscape
- Represent the NCC on relevant business and industry initiatives and networks
- Inform national and sub-national industrial strategy and investment decisions
- Develop and deliver impactful external sector campaigns to grow the business and its customer pipeline
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong track record of driving business growth through strategic account management. The ideal candidate will have:
- Outstanding ability to forge excellent relationships and a strong, senior network across the digital and professional services landscape
- Experience of senior leadership within a commercial organisation, strong negotiating skills, commercial acumen, and an evidenced track record of driving business growth through a customer-centric approach
- A track record of strategic account management and of developing innovative commercial partnership and deal constructs
- Evidenced ability to use data, including stakeholder insights and wider intelligence, to inform strategy development and underpin business growth
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills with a proven track record in skilful navigation through senior stakeholders across business and industry
