Sales Team Leader (Construction, Building Merchants) Job Description

Candidate Source is seeking an experienced Sales Team Leader to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. As a Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for developing the sales team and driving sales in the construction and building sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and develop the sales team to become more efficient in qualifying and managing sales leads.
  2. Recruit and train internal sales consultants and monitor sales against targets.
  3. Analyze existing sales processes and procedures and provide guidance to the internal sales team to increase sales.
  4. Improve relationships with current partners and identify new partners and sales channels.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in technical sales management selling into the construction, building merchant, home building, or similar industries.
  2. Experience in developing sales teams to handle sales leads effectively.
  3. Strong sales and customer service skills.
  4. Proven track record of increasing sales, identifying and creating new sales channels, and managing internal sales teams.
  5. Confident phone manner and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage workloads efficiently.
  7. Proficiency in sales and CRM software, including all Microsoft programs.
The Package:

Full-time office based
Hours of work: 08:30 - 17:30, Monday to Friday
