Job Title: Head of Commercial

At Tide Partnership, we are seeking an experienced HR professional to lead our employee experience strategy and drive engagement across our national operations.

About the Role

As the Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive employee experience strategy that aligns with our business objectives. You will lead employee engagement initiatives, oversee employee relations, and foster a positive workplace culture that prioritizes equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and shape the employee engagement and experience strategy across multiple sites, driving engagement and retention.
  • Act as the advocate for employees, ensuring their voices are central to decision-making processes.
  • Oversee employee relations initiatives, ensuring strong relations between leadership and staff, particularly in unionized environments.
  • Champion wellbeing initiatives that support the mental and physical health of employees.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align engagement strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Ensure efficient and employee-friendly HR service delivery processes, simplifying policies and improving the overall experience.
  • Utilize metrics and feedback to continuously improve employee engagement initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a senior HR role with a strong focus on employee engagement and experience strategy.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to lead employee engagement initiatives and improve workplace culture in a multi-site or federated organization.
  • Experience in employee relations, including working in unionized environments.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience applying design thinking or human-centered design in HR processes.
  • Healthcare or social care sector experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to align engagement strategies with business goals.
  • Experience with change management and embedding cultural transformation across multi-site organizations.
