About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Officer to join our team at Riverside. As a Senior Care Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our customers, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the care team to create a safe and supportive environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Hold regular supervision sessions to observe and support care assistants in delivering person-centered care.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Support the service manager in ensuring compliance with CQC and contractual requirements.
  • Assist with rostering and medication procedures to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Work with the team to identify and address any risks or concerns, ensuring the service is delivered in line with Health & Safety legislation and other regulatory obligations.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A caring and empathetic approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of working in a team environment, with the ability to organize tasks and plan accordingly.
  • Competent IT skills and ability to use initiative and make decisions.
  • Awareness of CQC standards and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
