About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Care Manager to lead the operational management and leadership of our Extra Care Service at Harbour Place in Workington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a safe, caring, compassionate, and outstanding service that meets CQC regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operational management and leadership of the Extra Care Service
  • Ensure the performance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of services
  • Work towards the aims of revitalising neighbourhoods and transforming lives by promoting the health, independence, and wellbeing of people who use services
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders in the local community
  • Maximise networks and source opportunities to add social value to the service
About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience of managing a service for older adults, mental health, or learning difficulties
  • Experience of communicating objectives and managing performance targets
  • Ability to identify, plan, and prioritise tasks effectively
  • A team player with a caring, empathic, supportive, and flexible attitude
  • Competent IT skills, including using databases, producing reports, and analysing key outcomes data to understand and drive service improvement
