Location: Science and Technology Facilities Council, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory Harwell, Oxfordshire

We are seeking a skilled Mechatronic & Controls Technician to join our team at the Science and Technology Facilities Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex control systems and instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems and instrumentation for various applications
  • Install, test, and commission control systems and instrumentation
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of control systems and instrumentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in control systems and instrumentation design and development
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronics principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
