Job Title: Senior Real Estate Valuer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Real Estate Valuer to join our Corporate Lending Team at Together, a market-leading property finance expert. As a Senior Real Estate Valuer, you will play a crucial role in valuing complex and unusual assets, providing strategic advice, and supporting our customers in achieving their property ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and refine our lending policy and valuation security approach to ensure alignment with Group risk and lending appetite.
  • Undertake formal reviews of valuation reports for new lending opportunities over £1M, identifying key risks and providing recommendations on suitability to lend.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external valuation panel managers and LPA Receivers to promote our property portfolio and lending opportunities.
  • Provide support, advice, and recommendations on non-panel valuations.
  • Support the Group Head of Valuations in providing strategic advice on property market trends and aligning with Group risk and lending appetite.
  • Support the Corporate Portfolio team and Loan Servicing division in undertaking retrospective reviews of reports.
  • Provide strategic input into loan restructuring, workout, and recoveries.
Requirements:
  • RICS qualified.
  • Direct experience in property valuation reporting for lending purposes.
  • Ability to operate and engage at a senior stakeholder level.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and facilitation skills.
  • A desire to provide a strong customer service focus.
