We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Real Estate Valuer to join our Corporate Lending Team at Together. As a key member of our Valuation team, you will be responsible for valuing complex and unusual assets, providing strategic advice on lending policy and valuation security, and identifying key risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Review and refine our approach to lending policy and valuation security to ensure alignment with Group risk and lending appetite.
- Undertake formal reviews of valuation reports for new lending opportunities over £1M, identifying key risks and providing recommendations on suitability to lend.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external valuation panel managers and LPA Receivers to promote our property portfolio and lending opportunities.
- Provide support, advice, and recommendations on non-panel valuations.
- Support the Group Head of Valuations in providing strategic advice on property market trends and their impact on Group risk and lending appetite.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Portfolio team and Loan Servicing division to undertake retrospective reviews of reports and provide strategic input into loan restructuring, workout, and recoveries.
- RICS qualified.
- Direct experience in property valuation reporting for lending purposes.
- Ability to operate and engage at a senior stakeholder level.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and facilitation skills.
- Strong customer service focus.
