About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Real Estate Valuer to join our Corporate Lending Team at Together. As a key member of our Valuation team, you will be responsible for valuing complex and unusual assets, providing strategic advice, and supporting the Group Head of Valuations in aligning with Group risk and lending appetite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Valuation Review and Analysis: Continuously review our approach to lending policy and valuation security, undertaking the formal review of valuation reports for all new lending opportunities over £1M, identifying key risks, and providing recommendations on suitability to lend.
  • External Relationship Management: Identify and develop external relationships with valuation panel managers and LPA Receivers to promote our property portfolio and lending opportunities.
  • Non-Panel Valuations: Provide support, advice, and recommendations on non-panel valuations.
  • Strategic Advice: Support the Group Head of Valuations in providing strategic advice on property market trends to align with Group risk and lending appetite.
  • Retrospective Reviews: Support the Corporate Portfolio team and Loan Servicing division in undertaking retrospective reviews of reports.
  • Loan Restructuring and Recoveries: Provide strategic input into appropriate loan restructuring, workout, and recoveries.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: RICS qualified with direct experience in property valuation reporting for lending purposes.
  • Skills: Ability to operate and engage at a senior stakeholder level, excellent organisational, planning, and facilitation skills, and a desire to provide a strong customer service focus.
