Job Summary
We're looking for a Senior Real Estate Valuer to join our high-performing Corporate Lending Team. As a key member of our Valuation team, you'll be responsible for valuing complex and unusual assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and refine our lending policy and valuation security approach
- Undertake formal reviews of valuation reports for new lending opportunities over £1M, identifying key risks and providing recommendations on suitability to lend
- Develop external relationships with valuation panel managers and LPA Receivers to promote our property portfolio and lending opportunities
- Provide support, advice, and recommendations on non-panel valuations
- Support the Group Head of Valuations in providing strategic advice on property market trends and aligning with Group risk and lending appetite
- Support the Corporate Portfolio team and Loan Servicing division in undertaking retrospective reviews of reports
- Provide strategic input into loan restructuring, workout, and recoveries
Requirements
- RICS qualified
- Direct experience in property valuation reporting for lending purposes
- Ability to operate and engage at a senior stakeholder level
- Excellent organisational, planning, and facilitation skills
- Strong customer service focus
