Senior Litigation Paralegal Role

Glasgow, Remote Work Option

Permanent, Full-Time Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our team at Keoghs. As a Senior Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in the defence of litigated motor cases on behalf of our insurance clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of pre and post-litigation defender motor files
  • Adhere to court deadlines and manage files in accordance with court timetables
  • Instruct experts and counsel
  • Carry out detailed reviews of medical records
  • Liaise with clients, other insurers, and third parties
  • Liaise with policyholders and witnesses
  • Negotiate settlements
  • Draft pleadings and court documents

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience in litigation and insurance
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: credit hire, personal injury, and counter fraud files
  • Experience of drafting court documents and understanding of processes
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks using initiative
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to re-prioritise and delegate effectively when required
  • Ability to analyse evidence
  • Good team worker with the flexibility to do what is required to get a result and ensure client service levels are met
