Job Summary:

The Technical Director - Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage technical information, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Information Management: Oversee the flow of technical information on multiple projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of documents and data.
  2. Design Review and Approval: Conduct thorough reviews of architect's and engineer's drawings, and collaborate with external consultants to minimize issues and maintain strong working relationships.
  3. Compliance and Regulatory Management: Monitor the discharge of planning conditions, issue construction drawings, and ensure compliance with statutory service companies and local authorities.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with the NHBC/LABC on Building Regulation matters, discharge conditions, and facilitate communication between the Technical Department and the Sales Team.
  5. Technical Specifications and Approvals: Prepare and approve conveyance plans, legal plans, and monitor technical specifications to ensure the Technical Team has the necessary approvals for the Sales Team to progress the sales process.
  6. CAD Work and Design Support: Provide CAD work as required to support the wider technical team and ensure the highest standards of design and technical delivery.
  7. Planning and Design Support: Produce viability layouts, detailed planning layouts for submission, and other planning application supporting documents.
  8. Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of general design and technical processes, with a reasonable knowledge of building regulations.
  9. Additional Requirements: Hold a full UK driving license, and be eligible for a company car or car allowance.
