Key Role:

Ainscough Crane Hire, a leading crane company in the UK, is seeking a skilled Technical Manager to join our successful team. With over 30 locations across the country, we pride ourselves on delivering projects with the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients to provide optimal lifting solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement detailed site surveys, method statements, and risk assessments to guarantee project success.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety standards and regulations.
  • Act as a company ambassador and prioritize customer satisfaction, fostering strong relationships with clients.
  • Provide technical support to the depot and improve operational efficiency, driving business growth.

Requirements:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English, demonstrating strong academic foundations.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence, enabling efficient travel between locations.
  • CPCS Appointed Person A61 Blue Card, showcasing expertise in crane operations.
  • Previous experience in similar roles, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of cranes and contract lifts, with a deep understanding of industry best practices.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft packages and AUTOCAD, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Effective conflict resolution and time-management abilities, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
