Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety and Sustainability Lead (EHS&S Lead) to join our team at Estée Lauder Companies. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing leadership, expertise, and support in facility EHS matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement site EHS strategy in line with global policies and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain site EHS management system in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant EHS regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and track KPIs to drive continual improvement and minimize EHS risks.
  • Lead and facilitate independent safety culture and promote EHS policies and procedures.
  • Maintain site risk management strategies and ensure compliance with environmental permits.
  • Provide strong leadership skills to engage employees towards an interdependent safety culture.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, management, and regulatory agencies.
  • Manage EHS budget and CAPEX.
  • Lead the site EHS team and wider EHS family.
Requirements
  • Qualified to IOSH / NEBOSH level 6 diploma or similar qualification.
  • CMIOSH or working towards with Initial Professional Development (IPD).
  • Experience of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Deep understanding of relevant EHS regulations and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of risk management and development of risk management strategies.
  • Understanding of cosmetic or similar manufacturing process / risk.
  • Good analytical skills to assess data, identify trends and patterns.
  • Project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills to lead teams to improve safety culture.
  • Effective communication skills to communicate with employees, management, and regulatory agencies.
  • Interpersonal skills to work effectively with a wide range of key stakeholders.
