Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Surveyor to join our team, focusing on domestic primary and secondary windows and doors within the Sustainable sector. In this role, you will be tasked with accurately recording measurements and design specifications, ensuring precision in every project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys on aluminium, UPVC, or composite domestic window and door installations.
- Perform ventilation assessments in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Uphold the company's brand image through high-quality workmanship.
- Resolve design and ordering challenges, communicating effectively with clients as necessary.
- Manage your workload efficiently and take ownership of your responsibilities.
- Maintain excellent customer communication and service standards.
- Accurately document survey data required for product orders.
- Quantify materials needed for successful installations.
- Collaborate with office and field teams to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Support the broader business in glazing and surveying tasks.
- Address any workmanship or product-related issues that arise during surveys.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and adherence to established processes.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in surveying within a domestic trade environment.
- Proven ability to produce technical documentation while adhering to regulatory standards.
- Experience in material quantification for domestic projects.
- Familiarity with various domestic settings, including social housing.
- Understanding of installation processes in a domestic context.
- Exceptional communication skills, both in-person and over the phone, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Demonstrated negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A collaborative team player.
- Reliable, courteous, and determined in approach.
