About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Clothing team as a Clothing Transformation Manager. As a key member of our Commercial GM division, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our stock flow and availability capabilities, driving significant financial benefits for Sainsbury's.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Better Buying workstream and drive the transformation of stock flow and availability as part of the Clothing Division's strategic evolution.
  • Design, develop, and deploy new capabilities, including seasonal and continuity buying tools, a demand-weighted availability metric, and an enhanced suite of reporting.
  • Enable the achievement of challenging growth targets, unlocking significant financial benefits for the business over the next 12-18 months.
  • Cultivate collaboration and establish new governance and processes to drive innovation and efficiency within commercial operations.
  • Lead and influence stakeholders at all levels, communicating progress and managing risks effectively to ensure successful delivery of key milestones.
Requirements

You will be an experienced professional with a proven track record in driving change and implementing transformation initiatives within a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment. Your strong curiosity and drive enable you to challenge the status quo, translating complex information into effective communication to engage a wide range of stakeholders across the business.

You will have the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels, role-modeling collaborative and agile ways of working, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Your expertise in data analysis allows you to identify risks and opportunities, while your experience in the clothing sector provides valuable insights into the industry.
