Transformative Change in Commercial Operations

Sainsbury's is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the transformation of stock flow and availability within the Clothing Division. As the Clothing Transformation Manager, you will play a critical role in driving significant financial benefits for the business through the design, development, and deployment of new capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Better Buying workstream and drive the transformation of stock flow and availability
  • Design, develop, and deploy new capabilities, including seasonal and continuity buying tools, a demand-weighted availability metric, and an enhanced suite of reporting
  • Enable the achievement of challenging growth targets, unlocking significant financial benefits for the business over the next 12-18 months
  • Cultivate collaboration and establish new governance and processes to drive innovation and efficiency within commercial operations
  • Lead and influence stakeholders at all levels, communicating progress and managing risks effectively to ensure successful delivery of key milestones
Requirements
  • Proven track record in driving change and implementing transformation initiatives within a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment
  • Strong curiosity and drive to challenge the status quo and translate complex information into effective communication
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels, role-modeling collaborative and agile ways of working
  • Expertise in data analysis and experience in the clothing sector, although not essential
