Role Overview

In this position, you will deliver financial support across the Capital Expenditure program for Frasers Group, encompassing various project types. You will assist in the development of feasibility estimates and provide financial insights during the initial design phase to support development assessments for new store openings and refurbishments across the UK and EU.

Your responsibilities will include global reporting of monthly financial statements and cash flow forecasts, as well as maintaining and enhancing the suite of commercial and contractual documentation. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and the Cost Management team to adapt the cost model as project requirements evolve.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with external Quantity Surveyors on multiple projects and will have previously held a Quantity Surveyor role. Experience in retail, particularly in refurbishments and new store developments, is advantageous, along with strong negotiation skills and the ability to present to internal stakeholders while managing multi-million-pound projects in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, with 3-5 years of experience in financial project management.
  • Extensive experience with projects exceeding £1 million.
  • Strong understanding of legal and contractual frameworks.
  • Familiarity with all RIBA stages of the design process from conception to delivery.
  • Knowledge of retail construction, along with a solid understanding of building regulations and compliance.
  • Exceptional financial appraisal skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Understanding of shop-fitting standards and construction details.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proactive attitude and excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Capacity to work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt priorities as needed.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Chartered membership of a construction-related professional body (RICS) is preferred.
