About the Role:
Sycamore Park Care Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living tasks such as grooming, washing, and maintaining personal hygiene standards.
- Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve healthy, nutritious meals, taking into account any special dietary needs and personal preferences.
- Activity Planning: Identify activities that would appeal to our residents and ensure they are suitably stimulated.
- Light Housekeeping: Contribute to a clean, well-organized, and pleasant environment for all residents.
- Transportation and Escorting: Lift, move, position, and transport residents as needed.
- Social Companionship: Provide social companionship to our residents.
- Medication Administration: Ensure residents take their prescribed medication on time.
- Physical Therapy Assistance: Assist with physical therapy exercises.
- Errands and Appointments: Escort residents to and from appointments and run errands as needed.
- Health Monitoring: Take residents' temperatures, pulse, and weight as required.
- Care Plan Implementation: Follow care plans created by medical staff.
- Reporting Changes: Report any changes in health or behavior to the care team.
