Job Title: Support WorkerWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at our Extra Care Scheme in Ash Brow. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our residents, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks and medication management
- Assist residents with mobility and positioning, including transfers and hoisting
- Support residents with dementia care, including memory stimulation and behavioral support
- Provide emergency first aid and respond to emergencies as needed
- Patience, empathy, and compassion
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Honesty and integrity
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
