Job Overview

Team Structure: The Broadcasting Digital division is tasked with the creation of all video, social media, and web content for our esteemed brands, including TalkSport, Virgin Radio UK, Times Radio, Talk, and Piers Morgan Uncensored. Collaborating closely with our editorial teams, this encompasses a wide range of content from in-depth features to quick, responsive clips, playing a crucial role in audience engagement and revenue generation.

Position Responsibilities: Commercial collaborations are integral to our operations, and this position will oversee the planning and execution of these initiatives. You will work in tandem with editorial, strategy, design, and our internal studio teams to conceptualize video ideas, establish timelines, select and secure talent, craft scripts, and brief crew members and guests to ensure seamless execution on the day of production. A strong focus on talkSPORT is essential, with a passion for football and ideally boxing being highly desirable, along with prior experience in commercial projects.

Daily Duties Include:

Collaborating closely with the commercial sales team on new project briefs Generating innovative concepts for commercial social video content and presenting these ideas to both internal and external stakeholders Developing and managing production budgets for specific projects Partnering with editorial teams to ensure commercial projects maintain a native feel while achieving client objectives Creating and adhering to project timelines, providing regular updates on progress Identifying and booking talent for productions, negotiating fees with agents Writing scripts as necessary and preparing cue cards and autocue notes as needed Attending on-location shoots, planning and managing the day's itinerary Briefing the filming crew and ensuring setups meet expectations Overseeing the final editing process and managing the delivery of content, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained

Keenly follow the sports news landscape and stay updated on the latest stories and trends Fully engage with talkSPORT, Virgin Radio, Times Radio, and Talk, demonstrating familiarity with our presenters, programming, and platform analytics Possess direct experience in a similar content production role, either in-house or agency-side, with a preference for commercial experience Maintain a robust network of industry contacts Exhibit a proactive, driven approach to work, thriving in a fast-paced environment Remain composed under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt quickly to changes
