Position: Financial Planning Paraplanner
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Compensation: £50,000 plus bonus
Our client, a reputable Independent Financial Advisory firm, is seeking a dedicated Paraplanner to join their team. With a strong presence in the financial services sector, they provide comprehensive advice on various financial matters including Pensions, Investments, Tax Planning, Inheritance Tax, Mortgages, and Protection services to affluent clients across a broad geographical area.
With over 25 years of experience in the financial planning industry, this firm has cultivated a robust client base that continues to expand. Their clientele typically consists of individuals with investable assets starting from £500,000, including city professionals, business owners, and those approaching or enjoying retirement.
The ideal candidate will have a clear pathway to transition into an Advisory role, as the current Paraplanner is moving into an Adviser position. This opportunity is particularly suited for individuals who are passionate about the technical aspects of financial planning and who value providing holistic wealth management solutions tailored to client needs.
You will collaborate closely with a seasoned Adviser who has developed a loyal client portfolio over two decades. As this Adviser prepares for retirement, they are eager to mentor a Paraplanner who aspires to become an Adviser, ensuring a smooth transition of client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Adviser in delivering exceptional client service.
- Engage in client meetings, documenting discussions and assisting in the product selection process.
- Receive structured training and mentorship to enhance your technical skills and prepare for an Advisory role.
This position offers the unique advantage of a hybrid work environment, allowing for both office and remote work. Additionally, full support for professional development is available, including assistance with pursuing chartered qualifications.
