Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Senior Financial Advisor to lead our client's wealth advisory firm in Dorking. As a key member of the Executive Board, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth plan forward.

About the Role

The Head of Financial Advice will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the Adviser team, fostering a culture that prioritizes client and adviser outcomes. You will have a deep understanding of the wealth management sector and will be accountable for the advisory division's vision, strategy, performance, and delivery of results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a people-centric culture to drive business growth and improve client satisfaction.
  • Lead the Adviser team to achieve financial targets and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to evolve the company's proposition and drive business expansion.
  • Manage a budget and be responsible for the profitability of the advisory division.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing team members to drive business success.
  • Negotiate with key stakeholders to drive business growth and improve client relationships.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve client engagement and retention.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive business innovation and improvement.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree standard or equivalent, with a business-related professional qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience in wealth management or financial services leadership.
  • Proven track record of leadership and sales execution in organizations of similar size and complexity.
  • Excellent people leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Ability to network with key personnel within and outside the organization.
