Production Editor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Editor to join our team at Informa PLC. As a Production Editor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth publication of our journals and articles.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate interactions between authors, editors, and suppliers to deliver high-quality publications.
- Work closely with third-party suppliers to ensure timely and effective delivery of content.
- Analyze errors and defects, and implement corrective actions to improve quality.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, providing constructive feedback to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Develop a detailed knowledge of supplier processes to collaborate on problem-solving, defect management, and sharing best practices.
- Communicate effectively with authors, editors, suppliers, and internal colleagues to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to ensure each title is developed to its full potential.
- Take ownership and accountability for your portfolio of titles, including all communication with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of publishing processes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
- Ability to work with external suppliers and partners, with a strong understanding of their processes and requirements.
- Project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines.
