Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Editor to join our team at Taylor & Francis. As a Production Editor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth publication of our journals and articles.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with Authors, Editors, and Suppliers
- Communicate effectively to provide timely and high-quality customer service
- Ensure article and issue publication meet agreed schedules and budgets
- Analyze and Improve Quality
- Analyze errors and defects to identify areas for improvement
- Implement corrective actions to enhance quality and efficiency
- Manage Supplier Performance
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure high-quality outputs
- Provide constructive feedback to suppliers to drive improvement
- Develop Knowledge and Best Practices
- Develop a detailed understanding of supplier processes to collaborate on problem-solving and defect management
- Share and communicate best practices with editors, authors, and internal colleagues
- Drive Business Growth
- Identify opportunities for change and growth at the product level
- Collaborate with editors and internal colleagues to drive business growth and development
- Collaborate with the Team
- Work as an enthusiastic and cooperative team player within a dynamic and flexible team
- Take ownership and accountability for your portfolio of titles
