About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.

As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our students and staff. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and staff, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a food service environment, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Good health and safety knowledge, with the ability to follow proper food handling and storage procedures.
  • Flexible and able to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
