Position Summary:

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor/Trainer (OST) to join our Integrated Transport Services Team.

The OST will be stationed at our depot and will play a pivotal role in leading and training our dedicated frontline personnel. Together with our modern fleet of accessible vehicles, we aim to provide exceptional transport services to the most vulnerable members of our community, maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.

As one of two OSTs in the team, you will work a shift pattern of 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge and Expertise:

We are looking for a candidate with a robust blend of initiative, knowledge, and experience in the transport sector. You will oversee the seamless delivery of services and the upkeep of a diverse fleet of specialized vehicles, ensuring compliance with our policies and procedures.

Additionally, you will be skilled in providing high-quality training and supporting a team of frontline staff who deliver this essential service. Responsibilities will include arranging staff cover, driving on routes, and providing office support as necessary.

Communication Skills:

We seek an individual who excels in communication, is a good listener, and can work both independently and collaboratively within a broader team. You will enjoy fostering effective working relationships with other service areas and colleagues, understanding their needs while also being able to convey challenging messages when required.

You will be confident in delivering a comprehensive suite of driving and Passenger Assistant training modules in an engaging and effective manner.
