As a Senior Project Development Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the comprehensive development of renewable energy projects, from the initial site identification through to project completion. You will be entrusted with managing your projects, ensuring thorough oversight of project risks and feasibility throughout all development stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed evaluations of potential project sites utilizing various mapping tools, performing feasibility studies, energy yield assessments, and analyzing project budgets and cash flow.
  • Oversee the grid connection processes and collaborate with planning contractors.
  • Engage with landowners and agents to secure necessary land for projects, including conducting site visits.
  • Negotiate project agreements effectively.
  • Facilitate community engagement and consultations with local stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed board presentations for the senior management team.
  • Ensure timely achievement of critical project deadlines and milestones.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a preference for solar.
  • Proven experience across the entire project development lifecycle.
  • Strong commercial management capabilities.
