About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Shockerwick House Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, supporting their independence and promoting their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support residents with their personal care needs, including toileting and mobility
  • Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the nurse or senior care assistant
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
