Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a committed and experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Psychiatrist within our Acute Adult Care division. In this position, you will play a crucial role in managing the treatment of adult patients in a dedicated inpatient setting. Your responsibilities will include working closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, delivering patient-focused care, and adhering to mental health legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert consultation for patients in both male and female wards
- Acting as the responsible clinician for individuals admitted under the Mental Health Act
- Offering medical leadership and guidance to the clinical team
- Overseeing the training and development of junior medical staff
Qualifications:
- MB BS or an equivalent medical degree
- Registration with the General Medical Council and inclusion in the Specialist Register
- Approved Clinician status
- Proven clinical expertise in community psychiatry
