About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Acute Care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading the development of our acute services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical leadership to the multidisciplinary team and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Work closely with the sector consultant, community mental health teams, and local authorities to ensure continuity of care and robust discharge planning.

Requirements

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • MRCPsych or MRCPsych equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
  • Approved Clinician status or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
  • Approved under S12 or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
