Position Overview:
The Senior Manager for Sales Enablement & Tools will spearhead the team tasked with the introduction and maintenance of our sales tools and processes. This position will be responsible for the development, implementation, and effective use of sales tools and processes in collaboration with IT, global Marketing, Sales, and Commercial Excellence. While our current tools are primarily SFDC, there are plans to expand to CPQ and additional sales tools.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop a roadmap for Sales Enablement & Tools that aligns with the Commercial strategy.
2. Introduce best practices and innovative tools to enhance sales team performance, including advancements in digital infrastructure, AI, and machine learning.
3. Identify, allocate resources, and lead the execution of roadmap projects, such as SFDC enhancements and CPQ rollouts.
4. Establish business reporting and analytics to monitor and drive tool utilization.
5. Stay informed about the latest developments in sales tools and apply best practices.
6. Act as a contributing member of the sales tool Steering Committees.
7. Oversee projects aimed at improving sales effectiveness within commercial operations.
8. Develop and implement governance policies and procedures to ensure effective data management.
9. Collaborate with the IT team to deliver sales tool functionalities that meet business requirements.
10. Create training and support resources to ensure effective utilization of sales tools by users.
11. Mentor and develop the direct team through coaching.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in management or supervisory roles.
- Proficient knowledge and experience with CRM tools (preferably SFDC).
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional projects to completion, navigate organizational challenges, and influence without direct authority.
- Experience in identifying and implementing new solutions, including the development and presentation of strategic roadmaps.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- SFDC certifications.
- Familiarity with SAP and web-based configuration tools.
